Our Faith

About The Scriptures
  • We believe the Bible is the divinely-inspired, accurate and preserved Word of God.
About God
  • We believe one God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit is both person and God – with all divine characteristics. The Holy Spirit dwells within the believer after confessing sins and surrendering to Jesus, the Holy Spirit remains eternally within the believer.
  • We believe God - all knowing, all powerful and ever present - created the universe by His Power and Word.
About Jesus Christ
  • We believe Jesus Christ was sent into the world by God the Father to save sinners.
  • We believe Jesus Christ was virgin-born, sinless and mighty in words and deeds.
  • We believe Jesus was both God and man, that He was crucified for our sins and was bodily raised from the dead. He then ascended to His Father's side, serves as head of the church and intercedes for believers.
  • We believe Jesus Christ is coming again personally, visibly and bodily to reign as Lord.
About Salvation
  • We believe Jesus, through death on the cross, provides salvation for all. However, to receive salvation one must repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ alone. True believers are eternally secure and cannot lose their salvation. However, as a result of sin and the loving discipline of the Father, joy may be delayed.
  • We believe that at death, all who have received Christ are forever spiritually with Him. At Christ's return, believers receive a new body which is like His glorious body.
About the church
  • We believe a New Testament church is a body of baptized believers, who together worship Jesus Christ, edify the believers, evangelize the lost and minister to others.
  • We believe the church has two ordinances: Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
  • We believe baptism symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the new life we have in Him.
  • We believe The Lord's Supper reminds us of Christ's death and affirms His Second Coming.
